The decision to build a new town hall was originally based on attempts to replace the old town hall with a more convenient building and to complete the town centre from the architectonic point of view. That is why the new town hall was from the beginning conceived as a communal centre with restaurants and cinema as well. Now it is the seat of the municipality, there are a cinema, shops, a tourist information centre. The town hall tower is open to public in summer.
